The Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor and Delivery role is onsite at Eglin Air Force Base in Eglin Air Force Base, FL. The schedule is 14 shifts per month, each 12 hours, rotating between days (5:45 AM–6:15 PM) and nights (5:45 PM–6:15 AM) every four months; schedules may vary with department demand. Pay is $40.00–$46.50 per hour, and the posting states a $2,500 sign-on bonus payable with the first paycheck. The role supports the Labor and Delivery department. The nurse provides comprehensive care to women and newborns across antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn settings. The role contributes to safe maternal and newborn care through clinical assessment, appropriate interventions and medication administration, and timely medical-record documentation.

What you'll do

• Provide care across antepartum management, intrapartum management, postpartum care, and newborn care
• apply knowledge of delivery complications and indicated interventions
• administer pharmacological agents accurately, including dosage calculations
• use Department of Defense medical systems to enter and retrieve patient information
• complete encounter documentation within 72 business hours.
