CNC Machinist

The CNC Machinist role is onsite in Lubbock, TX. Compensation is $24–$40 per hour. The position manufactures, repairs, and reconditions precision compressor components to OEM specifications, engineering drawings, and company quality standards. The machinist sets up and operates CNC equipment, inspects finished parts, and maintains production records and equipment. This work helps ensure new and repaired components meet customer requirements and are ready for release.

What you'll do

• Review work orders, drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• select tooling and cutting parameters
• set up CNC lathes and machining centers
• load programs and verify offsets and tooling
• perform first-piece inspections
• machine new and repair existing compressor components
• adjust operations to maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish
• inspect parts with calibrated measuring equipment
• document inspection results and report nonconforming parts
• perform routine machine maintenance
• complete work orders and record machining, material, tooling, and inspection data.
