Electrical Field Engineer (SCADA)

The Electrical Field Engineer (SCADA) position is onsite in Southfield, Michigan. Compensation is not specified. The engineer performs field services focused on SCADA and supports electrical design and analysis under a Professional Engineer’s responsible charge. Through testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and design support, the role helps deliver client projects on time and within budget.

What you'll do

• Perform equipment, control system, communications, relay testing, startup, and commissioning services
• assist with electrical power system design
• set, test, wire, and install relaying and control systems
• install, program, and test communications, SCADA, and PLC systems
• produce SCADA configuration files
• troubleshoot and commission SCADA and relay systems
• review work for quality and accuracy
• prepare field reports
• maintain knowledge of applicable codes and standards
• support client relationships and safety practices.
