Job overview

The Field Service Technician, Service Station Systems role is onsite in West Sacramento, CA, with daily travel to customer sites and occasional paid overnight stays. Compensation starts at $26–$28 per hour, with a conditional $2–$3 per hour increase within 12 months. Service Station Systems, a Northwest Pump company, services fuel systems and related equipment. The technician maintains and repairs fuel dispensers, pumps, monitoring systems, and point-of-sale equipment while following safety procedures and documenting work. The role supports reliable fuel-system operations at customer locations and develops technical capability through company-provided training and certifications.

What you'll do

• Maintain fuel dispensers
• replace nozzles and breakaway hoses
• troubleshoot and repair leaks
• replace O-rings, gaskets, and basic piping fixtures
• assist with tank monitoring and sump pump operations
• perform pressure testing and replace meters, filters, and sensors
• troubleshoot electrical issues at dispensers and POS systems
• follow job documents and safety protocols
• record job notes
• maintain the company vehicle
• drive to customer and shop locations.
