Project Management Specialist

The Project Management Specialist role is onsite in Tallahassee, FL, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pay is $25 per hour. The assignment supports the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission’s Boating and Waterways Section and Vessel Turn-In Program.

What you'll do

• Manage daily Vessel Turn-In Program operations, review applications and eligibility, coordinate verification with law enforcement communication centers, prepare purchase-order solicitation documents, and liaise with removal contractors.
• Monitor vessel removal projects, conduct site visits, maintain project records, process closeout documents and invoices, support outreach, respond to public inquiries, and monitor program budgets.
• Occasional travel up to 25% and nontraditional hours may be required.
