Hospice Aide

Hospice Aide is an onsite role providing care in patients’ homes in Panama City, FL. Compensation is not specified. The aide provides direct patient care within the defined scope of practice and implements nursing measures planned by a Registered Nurse. The role helps patients with personal care, mobility, meals, and daily needs while documenting care and promptly reporting changes to the nurse supervisor.

What you'll do

• Provide personal hygiene and skin, mouth, and hair care as directed by the RN
• assist with toileting, transfers, ambulation, and prescribed exercises
• help with meals and essential household tasks
• measure and record fluid intake and output, blood pressure, pulse, and respirations
• document care and report changes in condition
• follow infection-control and safety procedures.
