General Laborer, Billboard Installer

The General Laborer, Billboard Installer position is onsite with Lamar’s Hartford, CT operations crew, serving Hartford and surrounding areas. Compensation is $20–$22 per hour. Lamar provides outdoor advertising displays that help local businesses and national brands reach audiences. The installer works with the Operations team to install and maintain billboards, advertisements, and structures. The role includes outdoor construction and maintenance tasks, safe use of tools and equipment, and documenting completed installations.

What you'll do

• Remove and hang billboard flexes and vinyls
• prepare materials and install advertising copies
• build and install billboard extensions
• perform storm damage repairs and minor electrical repairs
• maintain billboard structures, vehicles, tools, and equipment
• use tools safely
• attend required safety meetings
• take completion photos and maintain written installation records.

Why this role

The schedule is Monday–Thursday, 6:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m., and Friday, 6:30 a.m.–10:30 a.m. Work at heights is required; on-call shifts may be required. Travel nights away from home are less than 10%.
