As the legally designated pharmacy leader, the Pharmacist in Charge establishes and oversees compliant pharmacy operations, quality systems, and daily execution. The role supports safe batch release, regulatory readiness, staff development, and the facility’s operational foundation as it launches and grows.

What you'll do

• Serve as the officially designated Pharmacist-in-Charge
• review and release compounded sterile product batches
• ensure compliance with FDA 503B requirements, cGMP, USP standards, and applicable regulations
• lead inspections, audits, and regulatory reviews
• manage DEA-related activities and required pharmacist licensure
• oversee SOPs, deviations, investigations, CAPAs, change controls, complaints, batch records, labeling, and annual product reviews
• supervise Quality Assurance Pharmacists and Regulatory Support personnel
• oversee compounding and production, aseptic practices, training, and operational metrics
• support product development, technical transfer, scale-up, labeling, stability protocols, workflow design, and clinical inquiries.
