Autobody Repair Technician

The Autobody Repair Technician role is onsite in Catoosa, OK, and pays $24–$30 per hour. The position works on the plant floor and reports to the Production Supervisor. Martinrea is an automotive supplier that designs, develops, and manufactures metal parts, assemblies, fluid management systems, and aluminum products. The technician repairs and fabricates bus cab components to meet production, quality, and customer requirements. Structural repair, welding, fabrication, and assembly work help ensure products are completed safely and ready for shipment.

What you'll do

• Inspect and repair damaged bus cab structures and components
• straighten frames
• fabricate, fit, and assemble metal components
• interpret blueprints and work instructions
• prepare materials for fabrication and welding
• operate fabrication equipment
• perform MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux Core welding
• finish and inspect work
• maintain equipment safely.
