What you'll do

• Safely transport patients using wheelchairs and other approved equipment
• secure patients and related lines or tubes
• transport patients to destinations using requested equipment
• communicate with nursing personnel, clinicians, technicians, reception, and dispatch
• attend to patient comfort
• alert nursing staff to distress or equipment malfunction
• maintain equipment and follow regulatory, confidentiality, and patient-rights policies.
