The Class A Commercial Driver position is onsite in El Paso, TX. Compensation depends on the driving assignment: OTR drivers earn $0.54 per mile, increasing to $0.56 per mile if they exceed 3,500 miles in a work week; regional drivers earn $0.52 per mile; local day cab drivers earn $17 per hour; local box truck drivers earn $15 per hour. TA Services moves freight through brokerage, managed transportation, warehousing, fulfillment, mill services, and cross-border logistics. The driver transports materials safely and reliably while meeting customer and regulatory requirements. Vehicle inspections, load securement, safe maneuvering, and prompt reporting of defects or incidents help maintain dependable freight operations.

What you'll do

• Safely transport materials
• perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and light preventive maintenance as needed
• secure loads, including tarping when required
• comply with DOT regulations, commercial motor vehicle laws, and company safety policies
• maneuver trucks and trailers for loading and unloading, complete drop-and-hook deliveries, and promptly report vehicle defects, accidents, or safety concerns.

Why this role

Valid Class A CDL and at least two years of Class A commercial driving experience required; must be at least 23 and pass a DOT physical and drug screening. High school diploma or GED preferred.
