The Residential Design-Build Lead Carpenter role is onsite in Lorton, VA, with compensation of $36–$42 per hour based on experience, plus bonuses. The role supports Foster Remodeling Solutions’ residential remodeling projects in Northern Virginia. The lead carpenter manages projects from foundation through completion while coordinating trades, inspections, materials, and client communication. The role combines hands-on carpentry with field leadership to deliver work to plans, budgets, deadlines, company standards, and local building codes.

What you'll do

• Lead onsite remodeling projects from start to completion
• coordinate subcontractors, inspections, support staff, and material orders
• install materials according to plans and contract specifications
• perform demolition, framing, drywall, trim, cabinetry, tile, and accessory work
• maintain safe, tidy job sites
• guide crews and apprentice carpenters
• communicate with clients and manage project budgets and deadlines.
