Production Control Technician

Job overview

The Production Control Technician role is onsite in Goodyear, AZ, and pays $26.50–$30 per hour. The position supports GTI Fabrication’s manufacturing schedules for custom enclosures, skids, and integrated products serving renewable energy, power generation, infrastructure, and industrial systems. The technician helps translate production plans into executable shop-floor work by aligning schedules, materials, work orders, and system data. The role maintains production visibility, supports inventory accuracy, and escalates constraints that could affect throughput or customer delivery.

What you'll do

• Monitor and update production schedules and work orders in StartProto
• coordinate priorities with the Value Stream Planner
• maintain the production Heat Map
• verify material readiness
• review work order and ERP/MRP data
• record inventory and production transactions
• conduct WIP audits and cycle counts
• coordinate material movement
• identify bottlenecks and support corrective action and continuous improvement.
