Environmental General Laborer — Hazardous Waste Cleanup

What you'll do

• Perform field tasks associated with hazardous-waste cleanup, site remediation, equipment decontamination, and hazardous-material handling. Follow health and safety procedures
• perform physical labor
• operate equipment and tools
• use personal protective equipment
• assist with field sampling and meter calibration
• inspect drums
• load and unload waste
• conduct waste-stream sampling and profiling as needed
• and follow applicable regulations. The schedule is Monday through Saturday, with typical starts between 6 and 7 a.m. and 8–10+ hour days
• emergency-response on-call availability is required, and overnight travel may be consistent.
