Admission Registered Nurse (RN)

The Admission Registered Nurse (RN) role is onsite in Lynnwood, WA, with compensation of $104,000–$114,400 per year. The nurse reports to the Clinical Director and provides hospice care to individuals and families in their homes and communities. The RN assesses patient and family needs, develops and revises care plans, and provides nursing interventions and education. The role coordinates with physicians, caregivers, community health contacts, and the interdisciplinary group to support continuity and comfort-focused care.

What you'll do

• Complete initial and ongoing comprehensive patient and family assessments
• provide nursing care using the nursing process
• develop and revise plans of care
• determine nursing diagnoses
• provide prescribed medications and treatments
• counsel and educate patients and families
• assist with activities of daily living
• act as case manager when assigned
• maintain clinical notes and report changes to physicians
• coordinate with community health contacts and the interdisciplinary group
• arrange necessary equipment and services
• participate in continuing education and quality improvement activities.
