What you'll do

• Answer incoming calls promptly and courteously
• direct calls to appropriate areas
• record concise, accurate messages
• schedule patient appointments and work provider reschedules
• communicate general clinic information
• respond to emergency calls according to procedure
• use the paging system
• report telephone system issues
• maintain the extension directory
• assist with office functions such as mail processing
• maintain confidentiality. Requires at least one year of medical office or clinic phone and appointment-scheduling experience, medical terminology knowledge, computer skills, MS Office, Outlook, EHR knowledge, and a high school diploma or equivalent.
