On-Site Maintenance Technician — Commercial Facility

The On-Site Maintenance Technician role is onsite at a commercial facility in the Greater New Orleans area. Compensation is $28 to $32 per hour. Facilities Maintenance Management services residential and commercial clients nationwide and emphasizes quality, teamwork, integrity, safety, and versatility. The technician maintains and troubleshoots building systems and coordinates repairs to support safe, continuous facility operations. The role also manages day-to-day maintenance scheduling and client and vendor coordination to help deliver reliable service.

What you'll do

• Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems
• conduct general building maintenance and equipment testing
• manage day-to-day operations and technician scheduling
• assist technicians at the client facility
• follow site procedures and safety requirements
• uphold client contract compliance
• manage vendor contracts
• respond to client requests
• prepare reports
• review work orders for labor, parts, and vendor cost accuracy.
