Shift Manager

The role supports smooth restaurant operations by supervising team members, maintaining service and food-quality standards, managing shift costs and transitions, and completing required administrative work. Responsibilities expand across four levels based on demonstrated skills, experience, and operational knowledge.

What you'll do

• Maintain cleanliness, food quality, sanitation, and customer service standards
• manage costs and cash handling
• set up registers and support shift transitions
• supervise and direct team members
• train team members when requested
• complete shift reports and documentation
• conduct operational walk-throughs
• enforce safety and security procedures. Higher levels may include independent shift management, inventory and food orders, cost control, and mentoring junior Shift Managers.
