The estimator develops accurate project cost estimates and bid materials, helping project teams assess scope, constructability, pricing, and value options before construction begins.

What you'll do

• Prepare cost estimates and proposals at different design stages
• review drawings, specifications, and addenda
• perform quantity takeoffs
• solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor proposals
• maintain budgets, bid packages, and preconstruction documents
• participate in pre-bid meetings, site walks, and design coordination
• identify cost-saving and value-engineering options
• support project handoffs and bid coverage.
