Coating Machine Operator I — Multiple Shifts

The Coating Machine Operator I is an onsite production role in Lake in the Hills, IL, paying $19–$24 per hour, plus a shift differential if applicable. The role supports AFC Materials Group’s coating process for high-performance materials used in industrial applications. The operator runs coating equipment, prepares mixes, monitors product quality, and records production and inventory information. The work contributes to consistent coating production and quality while following established procedures and working with the production team.

What you'll do

• Operate vertical PTFE coating towers or horizontal coating equipment under supervision. Assist with equipment setup, operation, and shutdown
• prepare and qualify coating mixes
• monitor product quality and adjust processes as needed. Complete run sheets and stock cards, and perform basic Syteline ERP inventory and job transactions. Train on day shift for the first 30 days before transitioning to an assigned schedule.
