What you'll do

• Examine patients, review medical histories, request and perform diagnostic tests, make diagnoses, provide or arrange treatment and referrals, document clinical observations, provide emergency care as appropriate, manage cases not requiring referral, deliver prevention and follow-up services, provide care in community locations when required, review medications and treatment plans, counsel patients and families, assist with minor surgery, deliver infants in urgent or emergent circumstances and provide or arrange postpartum care, coordinate health information, maintain medical records, communicate clinical reports, collaborate with allied health professionals, and participate in quality improvement.
