The Manager of Emergency Services — Emergency Department role is an onsite, full-time position in Gainesville, FL. The salary range is $100,000–$120,000 per year. The manager leads operations for a 32-bed main emergency room and 11 care-path beds at a full-service acute care center. The role oversees daily emergency department operations, clinical care delivery, staffing, patient throughput, quality, and safety. It leads and develops department personnel, supports evidence-based practice and patient experience initiatives, maintains regulatory compliance, and manages operating expenses and supplies.

What you'll do

• Oversee daily department operations, clinical care delivery, and nurse staffing
• manage admissions, transfers, and discharge workflows
• lead, mentor, and evaluate personnel
• support evidence-based clinical practices
• track patient satisfaction and resolve concerns
• maintain regulatory and Joint Commission compliance
• manage operating expenses, productivity, equipment maintenance, and supply utilization.
