What you'll do

• Plan, direct, and coordinate medically approved activities within the psychiatric program schedule
• assess patients’ leisure, social, and recreational status
• participate in treatment-team goal and intervention planning
• facilitate groups that develop social, leisure, and physical skills
• document patient responses and incorporate them into plans of care
• provide input to the clinical department about patients’ psychosocial needs.
