Head Banker — Plattsburgh

The Head Banker role is onsite at the U.S. Avenue office in Plattsburgh, NY. Pay is $21–$24 per hour, commensurate with experience and education; an annual bonus may also be earned subject to individual and company performance. The role leads frontline teller operations and daily branch activity. The role exists to deliver accurate, compliant customer service while supporting branch operations and team members. It contributes to branch performance through transaction oversight, customer problem-solving, peer guidance, and appropriate product referrals.

What you'll do

• Process transactions and follow cash-handling procedures
• balance cash drawers and observe cash limits
• answer customer service calls and banking questions
• identify product and service opportunities and referrals
• follow privacy and disclosure requirements
• detect potential fraud
• reconcile ATM activity and process night depository bags as assigned
• follow branch security procedures
• mentor Banker I and Banker II colleagues
• prepare assigned reports
• open basic accounts and order debit cards
• maintain knowledge of regulations and company procedures.
