The Director of Finance and Operations role is onsite in San Francisco, CA; the anticipated annual base salary range is $170,000–$195,000. Jewish Community High School of the Bay is a college preparatory school focused on deep learning, universal wisdom, and Jewish values. Reporting to the Head of School, the director leads financial planning and school operations and supports the Board and its Finance Committee. The role oversees budgeting, reporting, audits, human resources, risk management, tuition assistance, facilities, and the Business Office team.

What you'll do

• Support long-range financial planning and Board committees
• oversee operating and capital budgets, reporting, investments, cash management, audits, and tax filings
• lead the annual audit and coordinate with external auditors
• supervise Business Office staff
• oversee human resources in partnership with the HR Manager
• manage risk and insurance
• oversee tuition assistance financial parameters
• serve as liaison with the landlord's property management firm and supervise the Facilities Manager.
