Reefer Technician

The Reefer Technician is an onsite role based in Elko, SC, responsible for maintaining a safe and reliable fleet. Compensation for this position is between $28 and $32 per hour, supporting the US Foods fleet maintenance team. This role exists to perform preventative maintenance and complex repairs on diesel refrigeration equipment. The technician ensures fleet reliability by troubleshooting, diagnosing, and rebuilding systems while maintaining accurate repair documentation.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, rebuild, replace and complete all required repairs on diesel reefer equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance within manufacturer standards.
• Mentor other maintenance shop personnel.
• Receive road calls and assign third party vendors.
• Utilize fleet maintenance software to document repairs.
