What you'll do

• Post insurance, patient, zero-pay remittance, employee payroll deduction, and collection-agency payments
• apply contractual adjustments and write-offs according to payer contracts and hospital policies
• balance daily cash batches and reconcile deposits
• identify and resolve posting discrepancies
• maintain HIPAA, hospital policy, and payer-regulation compliance
• collaborate with billing, denial management, and patient accounts teams
• assist with audits
• file and scan posting batches
• maintain productivity and accuracy standards.
