Registered Nurse (RN) Weekend Supervisor

The Registered Nurse (RN) Weekend Supervisor role is onsite in Rural Retreat, VA, and pays $40–$41 per hour. Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehab’s nursing team supports resident-centered care in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting. The supervisor oversees nursing staff and clinical and administrative functions during assigned shifts. The role helps ensure safe, high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, coordinated services, and clear communication across the care team.

What you'll do

• Oversee nursing care and conduct resident rounds
• coordinate care plans and respond to emergencies. Supervise and support RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
• guide staff, participate in evaluations and development, and ensure effective handoffs. Maintain EHR documentation and support inspections and audits. Monitor medication administration, assist with complex treatments as needed, and report errors or adverse events. Communicate with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams.
