The Aircraft Mechanic, Government Maintenance role is onsite in Greenville, SC, with compensation of $25.39–$35 per hour. Second-shift positions receive a $5 per hour shift differential. Strategic Support Solutions is hiring aircraft mechanics for government aircraft maintenance positions. The mechanic inspects, diagnoses, and repairs aircraft parts, systems, and airframes to support safe, compliant aircraft operation. Work is performed in accordance with applicable FAA regulations and the Inspections Procedures Manual, with little or no direct supervision.

What you'll do

• Inspect aircraft parts, systems, and airframes during scheduled maintenance
• perform diagnostic tests to determine repairs
• repair defective or malfunctioning aircraft parts and systems
• troubleshoot and diagnose repairs beyond scheduled maintenance
• comply with FAA regulations and the Inspections Procedures Manual.

Why this role

Requires an active Airframe and Powerplant license, at least three years of related aviation experience, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Citation 560XL or King Air experience is identified as relevant; a basic maintenance knowledge test is required.
