The Custodian role is onsite in Burlington, VT. Pay is $15.00–$19.80 per hour. The position supports the Greater Burlington YMCA by keeping facilities clean and well maintained for staff and members of all backgrounds and abilities. The role maintains clean, orderly, and safe indoor and outdoor spaces, helping the YMCA’s facilities remain ready for members, programs, and events. It also supports facility operations through event setup, supply replenishment, light maintenance, and reporting repair needs.

What you'll do

• Clean and maintain the building and property through trash removal, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, dusting, and vacuuming
• keep restrooms, locker rooms, hallways, stairwells, program rooms, fitness centers, and grounds clean and safe
• move furniture and equipment as needed
• assist with event setup and breakdown
• replenish bathroom supplies
• assist with snow removal during winter
• perform assigned light maintenance
• notify managers of repair needs.

Why this role
