What you'll do

• Provide a safe, nurturing, individualized classroom environment
• observe children
• help develop parent-involvement activities and developmentally appropriate lesson plans
• provide classroom coverage
• report classroom duties to the Teacher or Lead Teacher
• participate in home visits, parent-teacher conferences, team meetings, coaching, staff development, and special events
• assist with IEP development and implementation
• maintain records
• and follow classroom supervision and child-to-staff ratio requirements.
