The Hot Forging Press Technician (Die Setup & Operations) is an onsite role in Twinsburg, OH, paying $22–$28 per hour. SSP Fittings makes fittings, valves, and tubing systems and emphasizes safe, efficient processes. The technician sets up and operates forging and trim presses and furnaces to produce and inspect parts. The work supports production quality and continuity through equipment upkeep, safe material handling, and participation in 5S and continuous improvement activities.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate forging presses, changing dies, back plates, and shims according to setup sheets
• adjust ram settings
• stage tooling
• operate forge and trim presses and rotary and slot furnaces
• handle and position hot billets
• inspect parts with micrometers, calipers, and gauges
• perform press and furnace preventive maintenance
• sustain 5S and Lean/continuous improvement
• move materials with a forklift and follow safety procedures.
