The Rigging 2 role is onsite in Rock Hill, SC, with compensation of $32 per hour. M.C. Dean designs, builds, operates, and maintains technology and infrastructure solutions for mission-critical facilities and secure environments. This senior technical rigging role handles complex or high-consequence lifts by validating load information, selecting rigging arrangements, leading lift preparation, and directing load movement. It also identifies when additional engineering or formal review is needed and helps develop less experienced rigging personnel.

What you'll do

• Lead hazard reviews for nonroutine lifts
• review lift packages, drawings, manufacturer data, and site conditions
• validate load weight and center of gravity and calculate sling tensions
• select and verify rigging systems and equipment
• lead pre-lift briefings
• direct test lifts, controlled movement, and final placement
• coordinate with operators, foremen, safety staff, and crews
• lead controlled recovery when conditions change
• identify when engineering or formal critical-lift review is required
• inspect and troubleshoot rigging equipment
• mentor rigging personnel and document findings.
