The Managing Attorney role is onsite in Sacramento, CA. Compensation is $210,000–$270,000 per year, plus a discretionary bonus. York Law Corporation represents victims and families in complex civil matters, including elder abuse, wrongful death, and health care and long-term care negligence. The managing attorney leads litigation strategy and attorney development so cases progress toward trial or favorable resolution with consistent quality. The role also partners with operations to improve workflows and supports firm performance while allowing the CEO/Lead Attorney to focus on broader strategy and growth.

What you'll do

• Lead case strategy from intake through trial
• assess risk, budgets, and settlement posture
• review pleadings, motions, discovery plans, and evidentiary strategy
• supervise key proceedings as needed
• coach attorneys on depositions and trial skills
• conduct case-readiness reviews
• manage legal team performance and development
• improve litigation workflows with Operations
• represent clients in hearings and mediations
• maintain client communication
• monitor case economics and profitability.

Why this role
