The Maintenance Mechanic I – 1st Shift role is onsite in Bloomingdale, IL. Compensation is $25.85–$31.47 per hour. The role maintains and repairs production machinery and electromechanical equipment to support safe, reliable plant operations. It also contributes to preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and the development of less-skilled maintenance mechanics.

What you'll do

• Install, operate, maintain, repair, lubricate, and troubleshoot processing and high-speed packaging machinery
• perform predictive and preventive maintenance through the CMMS
• maintain and troubleshoot AC and DC electrical equipment
• fabricate components using shop equipment
• assist Engineering with new equipment installation
• maintain spare-parts inventory and orderly shop areas
• participate in root-cause analysis and continuous improvement
• train and mentor other mechanics
• follow safety and cGMP requirements.
