What you'll do

• Keep patient rooms tidy and sanitized
• assist with personal hygiene, restroom use, grooming, and other everyday needs
• monitor vital signs, EKG signals, and patient condition
• assist nursing staff with basic treatments
• maintain patient-care supplies and clean linen
• provide emotional support
• place patients on cardiac monitors
• empty drains, ostomies, and Foley bags
• perform blood sugar checks
• report patient concerns to colleagues.
