Paint Line Operator – Powder Coat, 1st or 2nd Shift

The Paint Line Operator role is onsite in Lake City, MN, with compensation of $20–$26 per hour. Valley Craft manufactures industrial cabinets and material-handling equipment, and this position supports production of those products. The operator prepares parts and runs paint-line equipment to produce finished components that meet quality and safety standards. The role also supports production flow through inspection, equipment care, and coordination with line teammates.

What you'll do

• Prepare parts for powder coating by cleaning, washing, degreasing, masking, and hanging them
• operate powder-coat and electrostatic spray equipment
• load and unload parts on the paint line and ovens
• monitor coating thickness, coverage, and finish quality
• inspect parts and perform touch-ups or rework as needed
• adjust equipment settings and assist with color changes
• clean and maintain spray equipment and booths
• follow work instructions and quality standards
• support production flow and communicate issues to supervisors and teammates.

Why this role

On-the-job training is provided. Monday–Thursday schedule, with 1st shift 5:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. or 2nd shift 3:30 p.m.–2:00 a.m.; the posting states no weekends and also notes occasional weekend or holiday work may be required.
