Radiology Technologist This is an onsite, full-time position in Knoxville, TN. Compensation is not specified. Urgent Team is a network of urgent and family care centers.
What you'll do
- Perform x-ray testing including body mechanics and patient movement using knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
- Operate diagnostic equipment, develop film and prepare the room with the necessary equipment and supplies for the procedure, as well as perform Medical Assistant duties.
- Promptly greet patients, communicate wait times, provide solutions to patient problems, execute follow-up calls, assist with check-in/out, obtain and document vital signs and patient history, assist with patient transfers and procedures, follow documentation procedures, perform timely radiology procedures, perform quality control, prepare patients for radiologic procedures, ensure equipment is in proper working order, and maintain diagnostic imaging knowledge and skills.
What we're looking for
- Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent, BLS Certification, AR State X-Ray License. ARRT Certification and experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.
