Design Specialist — Communications and Graphic Design

The Design Specialist — Communications and Graphic Design role is onsite in Oklahoma City, OK. Compensation is $55,000 per year. The position is part of Science Museum Oklahoma’s communications team and supports the Museum’s mission, programs, and brand identity. The specialist develops and maintains visual communications across media, print, and electronic channels. The work supports marketing campaigns, audience engagement, attendance, and ticket sales through design, content creation, and collaboration across Museum teams.

What you'll do

• Execute the Museum’s graphic design function for marketing materials, signage, print materials, and large-scale graphics
• build collaborative relationships within the Museum and community
• help develop, execute, and evaluate marketing strategies and multimedia campaigns
• contribute to the annual communications plan and evaluate designs and strategies
• work with printers, copy editors, media, and videographers
• represent the Museum at events as needed
• create photography and video content as needed.
