The Internal Medicine Veterinary Technician / Registered Veterinary Technician — First Shift role is onsite in Charlotte, North Carolina. Pay is $23 per hour. The position supports the Internal Medicine service at Charlotte Animal Referral & Emergency, a 24-hour emergency and specialty referral hospital. Working alongside board-certified internists, the technician assists with patient care, procedures, diagnostics, and client education. The role helps the service manage a busy caseload while providing attentive care to hospitalized and procedural patients.

What you'll do

• Assist the internist in patient care
• intake and discharge patients for hospitalization or procedures
• provide advanced nursing care
• perform venipuncture and IV catheter placement
• conduct automated and manual laboratory analysis and digital radiology
• perform medical calculations
• induce anesthesia, intubate, and monitor anesthesia
• educate clients about disease processes and care
• provide client service.
