Senior Product Owner – Data Products

Job overview

The Senior Product Owner – Data Products role is hybrid, with onsite leadership meetings in Raleigh, NC; Charlotte, NC; or Tempe, AZ. Compensation is $60–$65 per hour for W-2 consultants. The role supports product initiatives within a bank. The product owner aligns product vision, strategy, priorities, and roadmaps with business goals, serving as the interface between stakeholders and delivery teams. The role manages backlogs and delivery planning for data products and communicates progress, risks, and decisions to leadership and stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Partner with stakeholders to define product vision, strategy, priorities, scope, and roadmap
• lead product vision and roadmap execution aligned with business goals
• prioritize initiatives and define scope for program increments, sprints, and MVPs
• identify and mitigate risks and dependencies
• develop prioritization frameworks
• prepare and refine backlogs and roadmaps
• collaborate with cross-functional teams
• create initiatives, features, epics, and stories in JIRA
• communicate roadmaps and status to stakeholders and leadership.
