Furniture Development Designer

The Furniture Development Designer role is fully onsite in Whitestown, IN, with a salary range of $75,000–$90,000 annually. The role turns design concepts and product requirements into practical 3D CAD solutions for furniture and physical products. It supports prototyping, testing, manufacturing review, and design refinement in collaboration with design, engineering, manufacturing, and production teams.

What you'll do

• Translate concepts, sketches, dimensions, and requirements into 3D CAD models
• develop product dimensions, structures, connections, hardware integration, and assembly details
• prepare designs for prototyping, testing, and manufacturing review
• revise models based on feedback
• assist with technical drawings and product documentation
• evaluate fit, assembly, stability, material use, tolerances, and manufacturability
• participate in prototype reviews
• maintain organized CAD files and revisions.
