The PRN Pharmacist role is onsite in Austin, TX. Compensation is not specified. Alive and Well Health’s compounding pharmacy serves patients across Texas and additional states and works within an integrated wellness center. The pharmacist provides clinical oversight and safe prescription processing, counseling patients, verifying prescriptions, and supervising compounding and dispensing workflows. PRN coverage supports planned time off and additional staffing needs while maintaining pharmacy operations and patient care.

What you'll do

• Oversee prescription processing for accuracy, appropriateness, and patient safety
• counsel patients on medications and compounded preparations
• address therapy questions and communicate with prescribers
• verify prescriptions and patient profiles
• oversee data entry, refills, and final product verification
• supervise non-sterile compounding and related records
• supervise and guide technicians and support staff
• support regulatory compliance, audits, and quality assurance.
