The Registered Nurse (RN), Surgery/MedSurg, Full-Time Days role is onsite in Lakeview, OR, working 36–40 hours per week on varying day shifts in Surgery and MedSurg. Compensation is $45.63–$72.94 per hour. This benefited, hourly union position supports the Surgery and acute care teams at Lake Health District. The RN provides and coordinates patient care across surgical and acute care settings, assessing needs, developing individualized plans, and evaluating and documenting care. In Surgery, the nurse supports patients from pre-op through post-anesthesia stabilization, including circulating and recovery-room responsibilities, while providing clinical leadership and delegation.

• Provide nursing care and education to surgical patients from pre-op through post-anesthesia stabilization

Why this role

Shared call is required, including low-census call, certification call, and mandatory call as schedule needs. Current Oregon RN license and BLS certification are required; ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications are required as soon as available after hire, and CNOR certification is encouraged.
