Maintenance Technician — VCU Health Stony Point Campus, Second Shift

The Maintenance Technician role is onsite at VCU Health Stony Point Campus in Richmond, VA. The schedule is Tuesday–Saturday, 12:00 p.m.–8:30 p.m., with Saturday hours of 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Pay is $25–$31 per hour. Crothall Healthcare provides support services exclusively to the healthcare industry. The technician maintains building systems and equipment to support facility operations and patient and staff comfort. The role performs repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance and coordinates specialized work with vendors and contractors.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot equipment
• replace plumbing fixtures
• clear drains and pipes and address leaks
• adjust building automation systems
• test and inspect generators
• replace lights and ceiling tiles
• use drawings and manuals to diagnose and repair systems
• coordinate vendor and contractor work
• perform preventive maintenance on emergency power and lighting, ice machines, refrigerators, HVAC, and other assigned systems
• inspect buildings and mechanical rooms.
