Registered Nurse (RN), Infusion and Research Cross-Training

Registered Nurse (RN), Infusion and Research Cross-Training is an onsite role in Wichita, KS; compensation is $33 per hour. The nurse joins Kansas Gastroenterology's Infusion team, with some cross-training for its Research department. The role primarily manages provider-ordered infusion care and supports safe, individualized treatment. The nurse obtains consent and health information, assesses patients, administers prescribed treatments and medications, monitors responses, and communicates with other departments to support patient care.

What you'll do

• Obtain patient consent and document health history, chief complaint, vital signs, and health risk factors. Provide care under practice guidelines and applicable laws
• administer prescribed treatments and medications
• assess patients before, during, and after infusions as needed
• monitor and document treatment progress and response. Operate equipment safely, maintain medical asepsis, and communicate with other departments.
