The Medical Assistant, Temporary role is onsite in Poway, CA; compensation is $24.95–$34.93 per hour. The temporary assignment is expected to last three to six months to cover leaves of absence. The medical assistant supports providers, advanced providers, and registered nurses with patient-centered clinical care and administrative coordination. The role helps maintain efficient patient workflows and supports care across women’s health, pediatrics, and general medicine as needed.

What you'll do

• Communicate with patients
• take vital signs and intake information
• perform blood draws, vaccines, nebulizer treatments, ear lavages, and EKGs
• provide patient education and resources
• prepare exam rooms
• coordinate provider workflows
• support diagnostic and screening needs
• document directed treatment plans in electronic health records
• convey provider-approved information to patients.
