CDL Class A Driver and Security Equipment Technician

Job overview

The CDL Class A Driver and Security Equipment Technician position is full-time and onsite in Columbus, Ohio, with some travel that may involve up to two nights at a time. Pay is $25–$37 per hour. Zedcor provides mobile surveillance towers and live monitoring solutions to customers across North America. This is a hands-on transport and technical role, not driving-only. The employee transports, installs, services, repairs, and relocates surveillance towers and related equipment at customer sites while following safety procedures and communicating with customers and team members.

What you'll do

• Operate company vehicles to transport equipment
• set up, take down, mobilize, and demobilize surveillance towers
• perform service, repairs, inspections, and basic troubleshooting
• maintain loaders, trailers, vehicles, tools, and equipment
• assist with loading and staging
• complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• follow DOT and site safety requirements.
