Transportation Specialist – Meal Delivery and Passenger Support

The Transportation Specialist – Meal Delivery and Passenger Support role is onsite in Lovelock, NV. Compensation is $18.75 per hour. The position supports meal delivery and related community service programs for Pershing General Hospital and Nursing Home.

What you'll do

• Inspect, operate, fuel, and clean assigned vehicles
• pack and deliver meals, beverages, supplies, and equipment
• follow routes and schedules and adjust as needed
• maintain driver logs and checklists
• report vehicle, safety, and client welfare concerns
• and assist passengers with mobility limitations, including safely securing wheelchairs and mobility equipment. The schedule may include early mornings, rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime based on operational needs. A Nevada driver’s license is required
• First Aid, CPR, and elder abuse training or certification are required within three months of employment.
