Compensation is $35–$52 per year. The Occupational Therapist - Acute/Outpatient General (Casual) is an onsite role based in Brainerd, MN. , with a range of $34.96 - $52.44 per hour. This role supports the Occupational Therapy department at St. Joseph's Medical Center, part of Essentia Health. This position provides therapy services to patients of all ages, including evaluation, assessment, treatment, and education. The therapist works as part of a care team to improve patient abilities and ensure optimal clinical and financial outcomes under the direction of management and referring physicians.

What you'll do

• Provides therapy evaluation, treatment planning, treatment, patient/caregiver education, and discharge planning for a full caseload of patients.
• Treat patients in both the inpatient and outpatient setting.
• Work with patients ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics, from neuro rehab to ortho rehab, and perform wheelchair assessments and cognition evaluations.
• Work closely with a team of OTs and PTs in the inpatient setting and OTs in the outpatient setting.
• Provides all ancillary/administrative requirements for a full caseload of patients, including documentation, billing, scheduling management, and other administrative duties.
